Haha, incidentally, it was the part of the Autobahn between Stuttgart and Ulm, they say. Not all too far from your commute
I’d say that’s exactly part of my route to work when I commute by car. Maybe the skateboarder was even faster than my Opel on that downhill track. :-p

The gist of the story for my English-speaking readers: They have a suspect under investigation but it turns out, everything they think about “getting him for” is a misdemeanor along the lines of “dangerously affecting traffic” (and NOT a crime). For that, they’d need a “victim” though, but they found none to date. At last, they want to fine him for being a pedestrian on a freeway, however the statute of limitations on misdemeanors like that is 3 months in Germany, and the offense has happened last year already.
