Day 179 – Bye Bye, Paper Cups
For the longest time, there was exactly one espresso cup available for me to have my daily espresso with — if someone else dared to have one before me, off to the paper cups it was! Too bad that espresso from a paper cup never tastes particularly good…
Luckily, Mozilla has the best office team ever, so after a short email and a little bit of waiting, six shiny new cups showed up in the kitchen. Woot and thanks a lot!
Day 178 – Do You Want Some Pepper With That?
The king of Pepperland once went to a mediocre restaurant, and afterwards declared: “Preground pepper shall be illegal throughout my kingdom, as it is an abomination!” The citizens of Pepperland lived happily ever after — to this day, this and similar crimes against the dinner table are rigorously punished in twelve countries across the globe.
Day 176 – Multnomah Falls
Today we took a fantastic little trip down (or up, I guess) the Columbia River Gorge, with stops at Multnomah Falls, Hood River’s very own Full Sail Brewery, and the Bonneville Dam.
This is an HDR shot of the falls, which are surrounded by lots and lots of very nice forest: The Oregonian rain clearly is good for something!
My photos of the entire extravaganza are online, because after venturing into the outside world, geeks always find back into the comforting, electron-infused arms of the good old Interwebs.
Day 174 – What do you want the Web to be?
Successful way to engage the community at Mozilla‘s and Emma‘s shared Open Source Bridge conference party last night. What do you want the Web to be? A creative wish list for the future of the Web that we’re planning to put back up at the Mozilla offices. For reference, you know. Thanks to everyone who participated!
