Film Addict?
Looks like I need to catch up on the movie front:
Film Addict has a nice little quiz on how many of the IMDB top 250 movies you’ve seen. I got an embarrassing 25.6% which tells me that both, I didn’t have Netflix long enough quite yet, and I need to get done with my master’s thesis so I can watch more movies
.
How do you score? Let me know in the comments.

Mine was equally abysmal. Don’t feel bad. =)
I got 30%, however I will admit I also counted movies that I had started watching but never finished, or movies that I caught on television half-way through or so.
35.2%! I win!
Also, I did take a film class in college that forced me to watch many of those movies. And I have a Netflix account
Man, I really have to watch more films — I only scored 19.6%… But I only checked those movies I watched from the beginning to the end, not being interrupted by… falling asleep or doing those other things we teenagers used to do in movie theaters when we were still young
Ryan: I am jealous of your taking a class about movies. German universities should adopt that! (I just had the pleasure to hop from CS classes to business to economics to law and back again
).
Justin: Didn’t you take a class like that too? Shame on you for only ending up with 30% then!
Jean Pierre: Sometimes I was unsure about checking them, because they are such classics that I really couldn’t remember if I consciously sat down and watched them as a whole. In fact, because of that I did *not* check “Ben Hur” and “Some like it hot”, as they’ve been on TV about a million times as far as I remember, and while I often watched them very partly, I don’t think I ever actually saw them in one piece.
Yeah, I took a class like that, actually two classes, but we only watched The Godfather Trilogy, Some Like it Hot and a few other classics like Pulp Fiction and such. I’m sure otherwise I’d be down around 24% and if we counted movies that I really sat through the entire thing, it would be more like 15%…
Hah, I talked to a Pittsburghian friend today and he didn’t comment here so he won’t make us feel bad as he has like 60-something percent of the list. Oh-oh…
