Oregon State used to have www.orst.edu, but the former president of the university allegedly saw it on a billboard thinking "my school isn't the wwworst?", which made them change the domain name, and incidentally gave birth to the <a href="http://maintainproject.osuosl.org" rel="nofollow">network management project</a> I was working on when I worked at the <a href="http://osuosl.org" rel="nofollow">OSU Open Source Lab</a>.
