E-Flat
Yesterday on Discovery Channel:
Most regular toilets flush in the key of e-flat.
Well, add this to the list of things I am not sure I needed to know.
Still, I am wondering if that means from now on I should set my tuner aside and just tune my trumpet after the toilet? Of course I’d need to call the plumber about once a year when the whole thing is out of tune

Well, that’s definitely a candidate for “useless-facts-you’ll-always-remember”. Like those British English words we had to learn in High School that NO ONE ever uses (I doubt even the British themselves). When was the last time I needed to call a craftsman to repair the “chimney pot”?
Oh, how I could use that piece of brain memory to memorize much more important things… like what I wanted to get from the grocery store which I already have forgotten as soon as I leave the apartment
