Okay the ones that don't seem to have a Fx3 version (yet) seem to be: CacheViewer, Fast Video Download, MIME Edit, Tab Mix Plus. Though I don't use it myself, I saw a Firefox 3 version of Tab Mix Plus linked here, but I don't know how good it works.

So if you can live without these extensions for a while, you should be golden.

Anyway good luck with the update, I am sure you'll like it! :)

Thanks for your help...
This is the list of my extensions:

Adblock Plus 0.7.5.4
Ai Roboform Toolbar for Firefox 6.9.6
BatchDownload 1.1.9
CacheViewer 0.4.7
Download Statusbar 0.9.6.3
DownThemAll! 1.0.3
Fast Video Download 1.6
FireFTP 0.97.3
FlashGot 1.0.3
Gmail Space 0.5.94
MIME Edit 0.60
Tab Mix Plus 0.3.6

I consider these the BEST EXTENSIONS for FF and I would like to keep using them.
That's why I'd like to "look before you leap"... :)

Mario: That's a very good question you're asking! If you have any extensions that you're worried about in particular, you can tell me them and I can tell you if they have a Firefox 3 version available, if you like.

In general, you can just go to http://addons.mozilla.org and look them up yourself, and it'll tell you there if the individual add-ons already support Firefox 3. Most major add-ons do support Firefox 3 by now, by the way.

Hi,

I downloaded FF3 but I have a doubt...
Will my extensions (from version 2) work on FF3?
If they won't work, how will I know when they are "FF3-Ready"?
Thanks for any help!

Setting the Guinness world record may be the stated goal of all this activity, but in the end that's only a novelty. The real show is the online mass mobilization that's taking place.
