		<description>I'm always interested in history from the point of view of people who aren't historians.  Real people seem to interpret historical events different when they see them through the filter of their every day life.  Once the historian gets involved, there's this sense of "museumism" that kicks in and suddenly we stop questioning and we stop seeing flaws--we take things for granted.

I tend to write articles like this when I stumble across something in history that I find interesting or that has happened x years ago. Particularly so when the events relate to German history. Another thing you may find interesting to read is my &lt;a href="http://fredericiana.com/2007/10/14/apple-store-on-historic-grounds/" rel="nofollow"&gt;article about some historic site in Munich&lt;/a&gt; that is probably quite surprising to learn about.</description>
