If I was a Programming Language…

So yeah, another day, another blog meme, and this one seriously is on the cheesy side but fair enough: I am C++. ;)

Which Programming Language are You?

I am not sure if that’s a good or a bad thing — especially considering I haven’t coded in C++ in, well, forever. The closest I’ve got in the last years was Java cause most programming assignments in my university are in Java. And whenever I can choose freely, let’s just put it like that: C++ is usually not on top of my list.

Now, which one are you?

  2. Apparently I’m Smalltalk. I’ve never actually used it, although I’m a Cocoa programmer, and I know Objective-C inherits a lot from that, so I guess that makes sense.

  6. I was Prolog, mostly because I gave the backtracking answer to the two roads question. I suspect my answers were basically all over the map, such that whichever happened to be most lucky was what was chosen.

    This might be interesting if the authors had actually made an effort to choose non-leading questions regarding language personalities, but since it didn’t there’s not much to get out of it.

  11. I am VB.NET/ASP.NET. I code in free IDE’s for windows :) I use MySQL as my Database backend (MSSQL is crap performance wise).
